The results of our interactive map might reveal a few surprises. For example, Greater London drivers consider themselves to be among the politest on the roads, and there’s almost a seven per cent difference between the number of courteous motorists in Edinburgh and Glasgow!
There are also differences in our behaviour for genders, specifically in how we treat males and females, while it’s additionally heartening to know that almost 40% of us claim to have helped someone on the side of the road. However, not so welcome is the news that most of us have seen a perceived decline in drivers’ behaviour in the last decade.
Even if you consider yourself a driver who’s seen it all on the road, there still may be something to learn from the figures we present. So steer your way towards our figures below – paying careful consideration to other people nearby, of course – and go right in.
