As an SUV and an EV, Jaguar has managed to create a car that's an impressive contender in two sectors that are both growing fast now and are predicted to grow even faster in future years. But, they didn't just copy competitors and 'play it safe'. They thought this through, they listened to their customers and they responded with a real crowd-pleaser that ticks many boxes.
The Jaguar I-Pace has four-wheel drive provided by two electric motors one to the front and one to the rear. This means it's pretty capable off-road, certainly more so than its main competitors. There are also helpful features, for hill-climbing and descending, borrowed from Land Rover.
It doesn't disappoint on the motorway either - it's smooth and quiet. It's got the speed to get you where you want to go quickly and the range to get you there without a stopover.
