When Ford created the Focus Estate, they realised they were onto a real winner. With this in mind, they went further to create a huge range of models to choose from. LeaseCar has plenty of Ford Focus Estates for you to choose from. Here are some highlights of our most popular models:
The new Focus Estates have been tweaked and improved across the board. Ford's team have ensured the estate version of their flagship Focus is so much more than just the hatch model with a bigger back end! The latest Ford Focus Estate is big enough to compete with the largest cars in this class while matching them for economy and driving pleasure. The Focus has a very unique look, from its horizontally split headlights to the angular design above its front spoiler. The popular Zetec features16" 5x2-spoke ‘Sparkle Silver’ alloy wheels, a useful Quickclear heated windscreen, cruise control with speed limiter, Ford SYNC with 8'' TFT touchscreen & App Link Android Auto/Apple CarPlay.
The Ford Focus Estate is always going to be a practical family car. But, if performance plays a big part in the cars you love to drive, you'll be particularly interested in the sporty ST-Line. With an upgraded, firmer suspension setup, the ST Line has large alloy wheels with impressively chunky tyres. The result is an estate car that drives like a hot-hatch around corners and cruises effortlessly on the open road. Despite it's powerful performance, the engine under the ST Line's bonnet is tuned for economy rather than power. Features to look out for on the ST Line are the 17" 5x2-spoke ‘Rock Metallic’ alloy wheels, the full body-styling kit & ST-Line wing badges, the large body-coloured rear spoiler, polished twin tailpipe, sports-tuned suspension and keyless entry which includes a motion-sensing key fob.
With the Ford Focus Titanium, you'll enjoy every moment you spend driving. The SYNC 2 infotainment system and the climate control mark this car above its rivals. Ford's attention to detail, like the chrome door handles, interior ambient lighting, leather gearshift knob and folding rear centre armrest all make this car feel really special. The Titanium also features 16" ‘Sparkle Silver’ 15-spoke alloy wheels, LED rear lamps, parking sensors - front & rear, rain-sensing wipers, heated front seats and an intuitive navigation system.
The Focus Estate engine line-up consists of three-cylinder 1.0 and 1.5-litre EcoBoost petrols and four-cylinder 1.5 and 2.0-litre EcoBlue diesels.
The petrols feature innovative cylinder-deactivation technology which reduces fuel consumption. They range from 84 to 180bhp. The diesels range from 94 to 148bhp.
The Ford Focus Estate has a six-speed manual or eight-speed automatic gearbox.
Ford has made massive improvements in the detailing of the Focus Estate's interior. Whilst practicality is obviously high on their list of priorities, they've ticked every box that's important to today's drivers. Aesthetic appeal is impressive, with upholstery and lining that's both eye-catching and comfortable. There's enough space inside to make family trips, with all the accompanying luggage, something to look forward to without having to worry about capacity issues.
The Ford Focus Estate has evolved to have a little bit for everyone, without diluting its original appeal. There's the space to make it a great family car, the handling to make it fun to drive and the economy to make it kind on both your pocket and the environment. If you thought estate cars were boring, we challenge you to drive this car and notice how it changes your mind!
Ford has always had an impressive safety record and developments in the Focus Estate's safety features have done nothing to change that. Euro NCAP awarded it five stars, due to a reassuring array of standard safety kit, with even more available as optional.
