As a brand, Mercedes-Benz surely needs no introduction, but here's a couple of interesting facts. The saloon version of the A-Class comes with just two basic engine options, a 1.3 litre turbocharged petrol or a 2.0 litre 4-cylinder diesel, but that is where 'basic' ends! Even the entry-level SE has 17" alloys, a 64-setting ambient lighting feature and a voice-activation system.
The Sport model also benefits from 17" alloy wheels, but these are an upgraded version with chunkier tyres than the SE. A further addition is 'Multibeam' headlights, a feature that adjusts the beam intensity automatically when traffic approaches.
The AMG Line is the top-specification. Supplied with 18" alloy wheels, the AMG has two separate 10.25" display screens, voice control that rivals Amazon's Alexa and even some built-in AI functionality.
