Ford Transit Connect van leasing is available in two models, a low roof short wheelbase or a high roof long wheelbase. They can come as a panel or crew van, depending on if you want to use it for commercial or business purposes. Ford have opted for five speed manual gearbox that allows for a pleasant driving experience.
If you prefer to drive a diesel then you have three 1.8 litres engines to choose from, with them providing 75, 100 and 110 bhp. Fuel economy has been a large focus, with the Ford Transit Connect boasting 47.1 mpg for the lower end model and 46.3 mpg for the two high end engines.
With any van the load space and its practicality is important for its functionality. The Transit Connect with the low roof and short wheelbase has 2.8 cubic metres of space, with the long wheelbase and high roof having 3.7 cubic metres of load space. It's possible to fold the passenger seat down to maximise the road load area to the side of the driver.
The crew cab version with second row of seats has 1.4 cubic metres and 2.1 cubic metres of space, although this is with the seats up. With them folded down the space is extended to 2.6 cubic metres and 3.4 cubic metres.
