Why Drive a Mazda MX 5 Coupe?

As well as the retractable hard-top, the MX5 Coupe has an extra attraction when it comes to superior sound insulation. This means wind noise is substantially less than some competing models that share the option of topless fun! With less wind noise, motorway and long-distance driving is far more comfortable and you'll be able to hear the infotainment system without disturbance.

There are two different engine choices and a couple of trim levels to choose from. Both engines are lively and this is a car that drives as fast as it looks. Remember, we're talking about a light car here, so acceleration is satisfyingly quick off the mark. Unlike some of its competitors, the suspension performs well. It gives you a firm but relatively smooth ride, even over rougher roads.

Inside the Mazda MX 5 Coupe

Every trim level feels well-built and luxurious inside. Textiles feel plush and everything is complementary and tactile.

You'll enjoy a 7-inch infotainment screen that packs Apple CarPlay, a sat-nav, Bluetooth, DAB radio and Android Auto - plenty of goodies to keep you plugged in and travelling in the right direction.

The Mazda MX 5 Coupe is a small two-seater car. But despite its small stature, the boot can easily accommodate two medium-sized suitcases. That means you're ready to take a partner away for the weekend - you'll just have to leave the kids at home.
