Data Protection - how we'll use your information
This notice applies to all applicants and (if the application is made by a limited company or partnership / unincorporated association) directors and partners.
We'll check your details with credit reference and fraud prevention agencies ("the agencies") and they'll record our check and provide us with information about you. We'll tell the agencies if we think you've given false information or suspect fraud. We'll also give credit reference agencies information about how you manage your account. We and other companies will use this information to assess you and your household for: credit and credit related services; motor, household, credit, life and other insurance proposals and claims; debt tracing and recovery; prevention of fraud and money laundering; statistical analysis about credit, insurance and fraud; and market research. About us
LeaseCar, LeaseVan and LeasePickup are all part of the Central Contracts (S.O.T) Ltd family. Central Contracts (SOT) Ltd is an independent credit broker and is authorised by the Financial Conduct Authority, we are not a lender. Our Firm Reference Number is 677877. We are acting as a credit broker for the purpose of arranging your selected finance contract. Central Contracts (S.O.T.) Ltd offers products or services via a carefully selected panel of funders and UK vehicle Retailers. Should you decide to enter into an agreement with one of these funders as a result of our introduction, we will receive financial remuneration or other benefits, and this may influence the total amount you pay under your finance agreement, including your monthly rentals. The amount of commission received may vary depending on the funder selected, the terms of the funding and other criteria, such as achieving high levels of customer service. Some funders may also pay us an additional commission based on business volumes.
We do not charge you a fee for our credit broking services however we do charge a vehicle sourcing fee of £348.00 (inc VAT) which is payable at the point of order, only once you have been accepted. This can be paid by card or BACS.

What Services will we provide you with?
We will provide you with either comparable details of firms most appropriate to your lending requirements or general information relating to finance products. In assessing your requirements, we may ask for information about your personal circumstances and objectives to enable us to identify your needs. It is important that you provide us with accurate and relevant information to enable us to understand your needs. You should assess the monthly payments that you will be required to make throughout the agreement and ensure that you are able to meet these obligations and other obligations you already have without suffering undue hardship. If you are aware of any future events that will affect your ability to meet these payments, please let us know as soon as possible. If you find yourself in difficulty at any point throughout the contract, please ensure your lender is made aware.
Complaints
We do everything we can to make sure our customers get the best products and services possible and we are committed to acting honestly, fairly and in your best interests, however, sometimes we may not get things right the first time.

Cancellation and Refunds
Cancellation Policy for Regulated Agreements
For regulated credit broking agreements that have been concluded without any face-to-face dealings (i.e. over the phone, internet etc.) you have the statutory right to cancel the contract without penalty and without giving any reason within 14 calendar days in accordance with the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations.
This legal right applies equally to all personal customers, sole traders and partnerships with up to four partners. These rights do not apply to Limited Companies, Limited Liability Partnerships (LLP) and Partnerships with more than four partners as these agreements are unregulated.
The 14 calendar day cancellation period for Central Contracts' Brokerage Service begins from the day you "accept" our order, Terms & Conditions and IDD document. For orders placed online, this period starts from the day you submit your online order. Your deadline for cancelling the order is the end of 14 days after the day you accepted our order. For example: if you accept our order on 1 September you may cancel at any time between 1 September and the end of the day on 14 September.
We are permitted by law to charge a reasonable fee for the service provided. We may retain a reasonable and proportionate amount from any monies we hold to reflect the work undertaken up to the point of cancellation. If charges are incurred by Central Contracts due to cancellation by dealers or manufacturers, we reserve the right to pass these costs on to you.
This cancellation right does not apply if you have placed an order on a vehicle made to your individual specifications such as a factory order.
Orders cancelled outside of the 14-calendar day cancellation period will be non-refundable.
Cancellation Policy for Unregulated Agreements
For unregulated Contract Hire agreements (Limited Companies, Limited Liability Partnerships (LLP) and Partnerships with more than four partners, if, following the signing of the vehicle order the customer:
I. cancels the Agreement and/or
II. does not take delivery of the vehicle within 14 days of receipt of written notification from the Company that the vehicle is ready for delivery and/or
III. does not take up the finance arranged by the Company.
or
IV. for whatever other reason the Company is unable due to events beyond the Company's control to deliver the vehicle
then without prejudice to any other rights it may possess the Company may cancel the vehicle order and appropriate any monies paid for the vehicle and charge the customer any loss (including loss of profit) cost (including the cost of any labour and materials) damages charged and expenses incurred by the Company amounting to 7.5% of the P11D value of the vehicle concerned which is agreed by the Company and the customer to be a genuine pre-estimate of such losses. Credit will be given for any monies paid to the Company for the vehicle by the customer.
Exercising Your Right To Cancel
If you wish to exercise your right to cancel, you must notify Central Contracts (S.O.T) Ltd of your decision to cancel the contract by a clear statement in writing by post or via email to:

You must include details of your full name, address and details of the order you wish to cancel. Please note, by exercising your right to cancel, you are withdrawing from the brokerage contract and the contract is terminated.
For consumers entitled to a refund of the vehicle sourcing fee, either in part or in full, refunds will be issued within 14 calendar days from the day on which Central Contracts receives the notification of cancellation.
