A more compact crossover vehicle than the bigger Cayenne, the Macan was originally known by the title Cajun during its design and development process (as in Cayenne Junior, cleverly). The name they decided upon in the end though, Macan, is apparently the Indonesian word for tiger, which is quite fitting as the Macan is an even sportier version of the Cayenne - it can't half shift. New for 2014, the Macan just shows how on the ball Porsche still is.
